A curated selection of secondhand pieces worth the hunt
If you saw my last video post about my recent RealReal finds, you’ll know how much I love the hunt. There’s something incredibly satisfying about searching for something specific and then actually finding it. Even better when it’s a fraction of the original price.Recently I found a pair of Dries snake print pants, a YSL python skirt, an Hermes silk basic top all that I love.
The RealReal is one of my favorite places on the internet to shop. You do have to be in the mood as you have to sift and scroll. But that’s part of the fun
I tend to search by era or by brand. I prioritize designers whose older collections I love, or silhouettes I can’t find in stores anymore. I also always scroll the menswear section too, especially for leather jackets and slightly oversized tailoring. And yes, I always hide the sold items. It physically pains me to see something amazing that’s gone.
So I thought I’d make this a more consistent page here, a curated edit of what I’m eyeing every month.
A small note when shopping resale, don’t be afraid to buy something slightly off in size and tailor it. Especially with pants, skirts, leather jackets, and structured pieces.
